Streets To Stability Foundation.
Were you aware that approximately 20,395 families within our city are currently grappling with extreme housing needs? This prevalent form of homelessness manifests as individuals affected are residing in precarious housing conditions, engaging in couch surfing, or allocating over 50% of their monthly income toward shelter costs despite earning minimal to no income. Disturbingly, 8,600 individuals (comprising 75% of this group) find themselves repeatedly without shelter throughout their lifetimes. Equally alarming is the fact that 2,700 individuals (25% of those impacted by homelessness) spend a significant portion of their lives on the streets of Edmonton due to untreated mental health or substance abuse issues. Acknowledging the enormity of this issue, we recognize that meaningful impact cannot be achieved in isolation, and we are committed to addressing the challenges faced by our local community. Every month, we will be distributing bagged lunches and clothing donations to individuals currently facing homelessness in our community. When you enroll in our snow removal or lawn maintenance services, 10% of your monthly rate will be automatically allocated to support the procurement of food and clothing items for families in need. Initiating change begins with taking action where we can, and supporting our neighbors in our communities is an excellent starting point!

Our Goal:
Our ultimate objective is to establish a future space where individuals experiencing homelessness can access meals and receive assistance in navigating resources for housing, mental health, addiction, and job searches, including the recruitment of those who express an interest in working for our company. Our aim is to support them in regaining stability and independence so they can rebuild their lives!
